Most cats, when they are Out want to be In, and vice versa, and often simultaneously. —Louis F. Camuti, DVM
Obviously, cats want to defy physics and be in two places at once. A closed door drives them nuts. They have to know what’s on both sides at the same time. I know this and when the cat doesn’t want to come into a room, I just nearly close the door. They come into the room every time wondering why I nearly shut the door on them.
The phrase “domestic cat” is an oxymoron. —George F. Will
Only someone who hasn’t lived with a cat would ever call them a “domestic cat.” They have no idea how wild cats can be especially when they don’t think any humans are watching them. The cats night prowl and get up to all sorts of capers while we sleep. Often leaving behind traces such as used litter boxes and less food and water left into their bowls.
