Cat Quotes 4:10

People that hate cats will come back as mice in their next life. —Faith Resnick

The universe has a way of dealing out its form of justice. It figures if you hate cats, you deserve to be reincarnated as their prey.

There are many intelligent species in the universe. They are all owned by cats. —Anonymous

Cats are attracted to intelligent beings. That’s one reason they choose the humans they do. They want to be around other beings who can be just as intelligent as they are. Cats want to be understood and allowed to be themselves. They give us the same opportunity to be ourselves too.

Cat Quotes 4:09

The cat seldom interferes with other people’s rights. His intelligence keeps him from doing many of the fool things that complicate life. —Carl Van Vechten

Cats know it’s folly to infringe on others’ rights. Cats want their rights respected and know they have to respect the rights of others. They also don’t understand many of the prejudices that humans tend to harbor in their hearts. Cats are intelligent enough to know how wrong and stupid prejudice is.

Cats are smarter than dogs. You can’t get eight cats to pull a sled through snow. —Jeff Valdez

Cats don’t tend to like snow or water in any form. It’s not good for them as many learn when they are kittens. Perhaps that’s one reason why cats won’t pull any sleds through snow. Another reason is that they don’t feel the need to please anyone.

Cat Quotes 4:04

By associating with the cat, one only risks becoming richer. —Colette

Of course we are richer with love and affection from a cat. A cat’s blessing and approval are worth gaining as real riches. Who could say no to that?

Intelligence in the cat is underrated. —Louis Wain

Perhaps it’s because humans tend to underrate those who are quiet and thoughtful. Cats don’t feel the need to demonstrate their intelligence. They aren’t looking for approval from anyone. They know they can just be and that is everything to them.

Cats always know whether people like or dislike them. They do not always care enough to do anything about it. —Winifred Carriere

Cats are intuitive and know who likes them and who are fans. They know who can’t stand them. Cats don’t care what we think of them. They will continue to be themselves no matter what we think or how we feel about them. Perhaps cats are on to something with that attitude.

If a cat does something, we call it instinct; if we do the same thing, for the same reason, we call it intelligence. —Will Cuppy

Both humans and cats have instincts. They come into play when we need them. But it’s only the prejudicial humans who have no proof who insist humans are intelligent and cats are instinctual. Why overlook the obvious when it’s the simplest reason that is the best reason to ever use and research when it comes to science?

Cats always know whether people like or dislike them. They do not always care enough to do anything about it. —Winifred Carriere

Cats are highly intelligent. Yet, they are rather apathetic at the same time. They are sensitive and do know who’s a crazy cat person and who isn’t. They know when they are instantly liked and loved and when they are not. They also know when your opinion of them changes. But that doesn’t mean they care about what you think about them.

If a cat does something, we call it instinct; if we do the same thing, for the same reason, we call it intelligence. —Will Cuppy

Cats are animals and so are humans. I know there are plenty who would insist humans aren’t animals, but they are the ones who are blind. They are denying our biology. We haven’t even proved we are better than any animal on this planet. Just because we can’t understand why non-human animals behave or think doesn’t make them less intelligent than ourselves. It just means we don’t know everything.
