Pet

I find it amusing that you humans call us cats your pets. Ever wonder if we think of you as our pets? I hear some humans think of other humans as their pets. Perhaps it’s just an affection thought that makes us think of each other as pets.

I know I didn’t mind that my girl called me her cat and her pet. She knew she never owned me. She didn’t try that. I can tell you, she was a great pet to me. She petted me often and let me know how much she loved me. So, of course I rubbed up against her and let her know I could pet her too.

Cat Quotes 4:08

Cats are a mysterious kind of folk. There is more passing in their minds than we are aware of. —Sir Walter Scott

I know they tend to think a lot. I don’t know what they think about. To me they seem to be meditating on life, the universe and everything. I can’t determine anything more specific than that.

Cats are a tonic, they are a laugh, they are a cuddle, they are at least pretty just about all of the time and beautiful some of the time. —Roger Caras

Cats certainly make life easy when it’s hard. They can be cute when they do all sorts of antics. They are affectionate and cuddly. They are the best companions I could ever ask for.

The Diary of Sir Socks Le Chat

My girl (Ali Noel Vyain) recently found my diary. We have decided to release it into the world. It will be available as an ebook, but not until after it’s first serialized via Patreon. My diary features my thoughts, feelings, opinions and why I wrote my memoirs.

Just a little sample:
Entry 1
I’m just a kitten. My name is Socks. I have a mom Ramadon and three brothers: Paintbrush, Inky and Spitter. We play everyday. Life is nice here.

Just one thing puzzles me. I know I don’t know much. I keep asking my mom questions and she answers what she can. So, I keep seeing these beings of light. They are sparkly and have wings. They fly around me and sprinkle dust on me. They laugh and dance.

Who are they? What do they want with me?
